Siem Reap has five coworking spaces in operation as of October 2026. Commune Work, at Rose Apple Square, is the largest, with three floors and 300 Mbps. Level Up is the cheapest, at $2 an hour capped at $5 a day, and the only one open until midnight. Footprint Cafes charges $5 a day, drinks included.

Commune Work, the biggest space in town
Commune Work occupies three floors at Rose Apple Square, about a ten-minute walk from Pub Street. This is the space many articles still call Siem Reap House: the address and the building are the same, and the operator's website now only uses the name Commune Work. Whichever name you search for, you will end up in the same place.

What are Commune Work's official prices?
| Plan | Price | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Day | $10 | open coworking space |
| Week | $40 | open coworking space |
| Hot desk | $90, $85 or $80 per month | Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm |
| Dedicated desk | $130, $125 or $120 per month | Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm |
| 4-seat team table | $400, $375 or $350 per month | Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm |
The three amounts on each line correspond to increasing commitment periods: the longer you commit, the lower the monthly price. Meeting room credits are included with the dedicated desk and the private office. On a hot desk plan, the meeting room costs $10 an hour.
What Commune Work offers in terms of equipment
The operator advertises 300 Mbps Wi-Fi, three meeting rooms for calls, interviews and team sessions, and three floors, each with a different use. Private offices exist, but no price is listed: availability changes, so you need to ask for a quote.
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm. Address: Rose Apple Rd, Krong Siem Reap 17252. Phone: +855 87 333 898.
Level Up, the cheapest and the only one open in the evening
Level Up is a coworking space, a board game café and a bar all in one. You go in through the Nomad restaurant on the ground floor, then head upstairs. The area is Wat Damnak, Street 3.

How much does a day at Level Up cost?
Access is charged at $2 an hour, and the meter stops at three hours: you pay a maximum of $5 for the whole day. On Wednesdays, the day rate is $3. A group pass costs $12 for up to three people, then $3 per extra person, daytime only. The private room can be booked for $8 an hour on top of the entry fee.
| Membership | Monthly price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10 points per visit, members-only offers |
| Basic | $20 | free access every Tuesday and Thursday, 20% off drinks, locker |
| Premium | $60 | unlimited hours, 20% off the whole menu, 4 hours of private room per month |
| Party Pass | $50 | 1 member and 1 guest, unlimited until 6 pm and all weekend |
Who Level Up suits, and who it doesn't
The entry price includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and self-service tea, coffee, water and a soda fountain. Food from the Nomad kitchen is brought upstairs, and the bar's happy hour runs from 4 pm to 7 pm with two drinks for the price of one.
That is also the limit of the place. One guidebook writer spent half a day there before leaving, finding the board games too distracting. There is a game night on Wednesday evenings and bridge and card games on Thursday afternoons. If you need total silence, go in the morning or pick another space.
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 8 am to midnight. The Nomad downstairs closes at 11 pm. Contact: social@levelupsiemreap.com.
Footprint Cafes, coworking in a community café
Footprint Cafes is a social enterprise that describes itself as a chain of bookshop cafés. Half of the space is open for coworking with no booking needed.
Prices published by the operator: $5 a day, $20 a week, $65 a month, per person. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are included in the membership. The desks are wooden, for sitting or standing, and suit both small and large groups. A Skype room and an event space are available, with no listed price.
Official hours: 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Members can stay later when no event is planned, until the ground-floor café closes at 9:30 pm. Location: east side of the river, Street 26. Pass enquiries: georgie@footprintcafes.org.
One thing worth knowing: Footprint sets aside free or discounted space for start-ups and non-profit projects, on application. If you are setting up something non-profit locally, it is worth asking.
Format CoWork, the quiet option east of the river
Format CoWork is on Angkor Tree Street, in the Slor Kram area. Its booking page lists a dedicated desk at $40 a week or $125 a month, and a list of facilities more complete than the city average: Skype room, lounge, monitors, printer and scanner, quiet zone, personal lockers, kitchen, garden, shower, bike rental and free parking.
Two honest caveats. The page shows both 24/7 access and office hours of Monday to Friday, 10 am to 3 pm, which contradict each other. And no update date appears. Get in touch before you go.
Six Street Eighteen, for a long stay
Six Street Eighteen is a coworking space run by a couple in their home: one room, about six desks, external monitors, and no phone booth or meeting room. The hosts favour people who stay a long time. No prices are published. This is the option to remember if you are spending several weeks in Siem Reap and want calm rather than networking.
Which cafés in Siem Reap are good for half a day of work?
For two hours of emails, a café is enough, and Siem Reap has dozens with Wi-Fi. Here are the ones that keep coming up as genuinely workable.
| Café | Google rating | Why go |
|---|---|---|
| Wat Else Café | 4.9 | decent Wi-Fi, quiet |
| Brother Bong Cafe | 4.8 | among the most comfortable in town, quiet |
| The Bean Embassy | 4.8 | roastery, garden, outdoor seating |
| Fame Cafe Wat Bo | 4.8 | comfortable and quiet |
| The Little Red Fox Espresso | 4.7 | air conditioning upstairs, Kandal Village area |
| 1961 Coffee and Art Space | 4.7 | café and art space, quiet |
| Common Grounds Cafe | 4.7 | comfortable, quiet |
The ratings in this table come from a selection published in 2026 and built from Google reviews. It is an aggregation of reviews, not an on-site survey: read it as a popularity ranking.
Three useful notes on the cafés
The Little Red Fox Espresso is at 593 Hap Guan Street, in Kandal Village, and closes on Wednesdays. All sources agree on this weekly closure. The closing time, however, varies between listings, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Phone: +855 16 669 724.
A guide written by someone living locally names the following as the best suited to work, and air-conditioned: Footprint Café, The Creative House, The Bean Embassy, Asagohan Japanese Café and The Source Cafe. The same guide advises against Biolab Café for working, finding the seating uncomfortable and the garden noisy.
Finally, 1961 is no longer a coworking space. It used to be one of the most cited spaces in Siem Reap, and it now works as a regular café. You can have a coffee and answer your emails there, but not set up a desk.
What internet connection can you expect in Siem Reap?
Commune Work is the only operator in town to publish a figure: 300 Mbps. Elsewhere, an independent test taken in February 2025 at BioLAB shows 35.30 Mbps download and 43.50 Mbps upload, which is more than enough for video calls.
The real variable is not the advertised speed, it is the rain. A guide updated in 2026 notes that the connection gets more erratic during heavy rain. In the wet season, from May to October, get a Cambodian data plan as a backup: it is the cheapest precaution you will take on the whole trip.
How to choose in one minute

Frequently asked questions
How much does a day of coworking in Siem Reap cost? Between $5 and $10. Level Up and Footprint Cafes cost $5 a day, Commune Work $10. The going rate in town is around $5, and Commune Work's $10 is explained by its meeting rooms and advertised speed.
Why isn't AngkorHUB on this list? Because its physical space is no longer operating. Yet it is still the most recommended name online for Siem Reap, copied from articles written before it closed. Do not plan your work week around it.
Do you need to book a coworking space in Siem Reap? Not for a day pass: Commune Work, Level Up and Footprint Cafes accept walk-ins. For a meeting room, a dedicated desk or a private office, get in touch in advance, as availability changes.
Is there a coworking space open at night in Siem Reap? Level Up closes at midnight, seven days a week, the longest opening hours in town. Format CoWork claims 24/7 access for members, but its listing contradicts itself on hours, so ask for confirmation.
Which space for a team of four? Commune Work's team table, from $350 a month for four seats depending on the commitment period. It is the only team offer with a public price in Siem Reap.
Is the Wi-Fi good enough for client calls? Yes, in the coworking spaces. Commune Work advertises 300 Mbps, and tests taken elsewhere in town exceed 35 Mbps. Just plan for mobile hotspot backup during the rainy season.
In short
Siem Reap is no longer the town without infrastructure it is still described as. Commune Work, at Rose Apple Square, covers serious professional needs: three floors, three meeting rooms, 300 Mbps, $10 a day and dedicated desks from $120 a month. Level Up covers the rest for $5 a day maximum, drinks included, until midnight. Footprint Cafes offers the same $5 day in a community café. Format CoWork and Six Street Eighteen round out the options for those looking for equipment or quiet, with a message beforehand in both cases.

AngkorHUB, the reference that no longer exists
It needs to be said clearly, because it is the name that comes up first in almost every search.
For six years, AngkorHUB was the heart of the remote work community in Siem Reap. Its own website gives the period 2013 to 2020: opened to the public in 2014, closed by the pandemic in 2020. And today, in black and white: "The physical space is currently closed."

When it was running, the space was on Angkor Night Market Street, 400 metres from Pub Street, with dedicated 300 Mbps fibre, 4G backup, a generator, a covered terrace, a garden with hammocks, community lunches and an all-inclusive package with breakfast, lunch six days a week, airport transfer and a SIM card.
The organisation's programmes continue, but do not go to this address to work.
